PSBA REMINDS THE PUBLIC THAT SCHOOL BUSES ARE ON THE ROAD AGAIN

“With the new school year upon us, PSBA would like to remind drivers to stay extra alert for students entering and leaving their buses,” said Blake Krapf, PSBA President. “Distracted driving is always a concern so we are asking motorists to keep an extra sharp eye on the road and watch for those flashing lights and extended stop arms.”

Mike Berk, PSBA Executive Director added, “There are over 45,000 licensed school bus drivers in Pennsylvania who are trained and dedicated to getting our children to school each and every day. The commitment to safety by these drivers and school bus operators is why school bus transportation continues to be the safest mode of transportation for getting children back and forth to school.”

The Pennsylvania School Bus Association is a group of nearly 400 school bus contractors from across Pennsylvania who have joined together to be a strong voice for school bus safety and the school bus contracting industry. If you would like more information, please contact Michael Berk, Executive Director at 717-975-1951, ext. 500 or email at mberk@paschoolbus.org.
