PSBA offers two types of membership opportunities.

Regular (Contractor) Membership - Any private contractor, who contracts with school districts for pupil transportation, is eligible for membership in the Pennsylvania School Bus Association.

Associate (Business or Other) Membership - Any individual, partnership, corporation, or other business entity which engages in a business that services the school bus industry or which is affiliated with such services is eligible for membership in the Pennsylvania School Bus Association as an Associate Member.

Contractor members utilize many useful services at a reduced cost or at no cost.

• Professional staff available to offer you personal assistance on a wide range of issues.
• Representation at the Capital in Harrisburg where PSBA voices and advances your legislative and regulatory interests. Our strong relationships with legislators and PennDOT staff enable us to better advocate for your interests.
• Timely information on issues impacting your operations through the monthly newsletter, our redesigned interactive website, and member bulletins.
• Property and liability insurance protection through the PSBA endorsed program with Keystone.
• Legal services program for members through the PSBA Business Counsel program with RC Kelly Associates.
• Education and networking opportunities designed to increase your knowledge on the most current information and products related to school transportation while also providing an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with fellow school bus contractors.
• Certificate in Good Standing that can be sent to your districts informing them of your membership and how it sets you apart from non-member competitors.
• Access to our Members Only Tool Kits providing members with tools for Driver Recruitment, Hiring Events, Workplace Safety, School Bus Safety Week, Love the Bus Month, Exceptional Learners Transportation, and more!
• Representation on our School Transportation Job Board accessible on schoolbushero.com!

Contributions or gifts to PSBA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. However, dues may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Pursuant to the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, 23% of your PSBA dues is attributable to nondeductible lobbying activity and is therefore not deductible under Internal Revenue Code Section 162 as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
