Pennsylvania School Bus Association Celebrates Another Successful Legislative Day in Harrisburg

Lansdale, PA – On May 2nd contractors from around the Commonwealth gathered in Harrisburg to meet with legislators and discuss issues facing the School Bus industry. The goal of these meetings was to continue our mission to provide programs, education, and services to promote and foster the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children and strengthen the quality of student transportation.

School buses remain the safest form of transportation for students in the country. It is our hope that working with our elected officials, we can continue to support students throughout the Commonwealth through responsible legislation and regulation.

Aaron Sepkowski, 1st Vice President, thanked the General Assembly for the opportunity to sit down with our legislators, “Everyday, school bus drivers are the start and end of a student’s day. They are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters that make up the fabric of the community. They remain dedicated to safe and reliable transportation. By working with our legislature, we hope to continue to provide the highest level of safety for students and provide drivers with the necessary support and resources to keep our students safe.”
